The Technology Stream at Madeena

The Technology Stream was added to the GCE A/L curriculum in 2013, and Madeena initiated the Technology Stream in 2016, and we presented our first batch of students for the GCE A/L exam in 2018.

Since then, our students have shown great commitment and achieved excellent results, moving on to higher studies and successful careers.

We offer two main areas in the Technology Stream:

1. Engineering Technology (E-Tech):
This stream is for students interested in engineering and IT. Subjects include:

• Science for Technology

• ICT (Information and Communication Technology)

• Engineering Technology

Students gain both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in design, mechanics, electronics, and software.

2. Bio-systems Technology (B-Tech):
This stream suits students interested in science, agriculture, and the environment. Subjects include:

• Science for Technology

• Agriculture

• Bio-systems Technology

Students learn how to apply technology to solve problems in farming, environmental management, and biological systems.

The Technology Lab

Our Technology Lab was opened in 2018 and is the heart of hands-on learning in the Technology Stream. It is fully equipped with modern tools and machineries, helping students turn theory into real-world experience.

This lab encourages creativity, problem-solving, and innovation, giving students practical skills that help them stand out.
